HOPE Worldwide Kenya

The grant was awarded in 2007 for a formal education and vocational training program. In addition to formal education for children and vocational training for young adults, the project includes a comprehensive HIV/AIDS program at the workplace that has a strong aspect of community outreach. The project operates in four major industrial areas in three cities in Kenya. Most of the people who live in the communities (primarily informal settlements) work in factories and/or other nearby industries.
